When rebuilding, restoring and upgrading fails, you can recover your data. Outlook stores your data in the Data Records folder in your Identity folder.

~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities/Main Identity/Data Records

Identity crisis: Why won’t Outlook for Mac open its own messages!?

Spotlight search in Entourage 2008 is so fast, this one feature makes the upgrade to Entourage 2008 worthwhile. Optimize Entourage to better work with Exchange

Why is connecting Entourage to Exchange is so tricky sometimes? Mail might work but public folders don’t appear. Maybe the Global Address List (GAL) just doesn’t work.
