Outlook for Mac has never had an automatic archiving feature. And it still doesn’t. However, Outlook 15 supports accessing Online Archive messages stored on Exchange 2010 or higher and Office 365 servers. Connect Office 365 Lync for Mac to Skype

Microsoft announced Lync-Skype connectivity in late May on the Lync Team Blog. This connectivity bridged their Lync enterprise collaboration tool with their free Skype voice and messaging network.

Both applications share some overlap in features:

Microsoft releases Office for Mac 2011 14.3.1 Update

Microsoft has released the Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 14.3.1 Update. (105.6 MB) Although this update includes prior updates since 14.1.0, installation issues require first installing the 14.2.3 update on Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) and OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) systems due to GateKeeper.

Lync 14.0.1 update addresses 10.7.2 crashes and Office 365 sign-ins

Microsoft has released its Lync for Mac 2011 14.0.1 update. This update fixes an issue where Mac OS X 10.7.2 users may experience unexpected quits while trying to sign in to an account. It also fixes an issue that prevented Office 365 users from being able to sign in to their accounts.
