Lync for Mac 2011 14.0.4 update provides Mountain Lion support

Microsoft has released its Lync for Mac 2011 14.0.4 update. This update appears to solidify improvements in the the 14.0.3 hotfix for specific devices and officially supports OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion).

Outlook 2011: Sending photos in Mountain Lion with iPhoto 9.4.1

The new Share option in iPhoto is not recognizing either Entourage or Outlook for Mac as an option to email photos. However you can add your Entourage or Outlook email address to send using Share in iPhoto.

Don’t fight Gatekeeper to install Office for Mac updates

Apple released OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) on Wednesday and with it released its new security technology called Gatekeeper. Gatekeeper’s purpose is to watch as you download applications and installers from the Internet and verify they are legitimate software not malware. That’s a good thing.
