Transfer CoRD bookmarks to Microsoft Remote Desktop

Back in January I called Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) dead. Microsoft proved me wrong a few days ago, although RDC did appear to be in a deep deep coma for a long time, and I’ve really enjoyed the new version on both my Mac and iOS devices. It works great with a few minor annoyances such as no ability to disable the Command key as the Windows key.

Microsoft releases Remote Desktop 8.0 for Android, iOS and Mac

Coinciding with its release of Windows 8.1, Microsoft has released new versions of its Remote Desktop Client (RDC) for Android, iOS and Mac. This is the first major upgrade to RDC for Mac since version 2.0 was released in June 2008 and last updated in May 2011 and the first releases for Android and iOS.

Whither goest thou, Remote Desktop Connection for Mac?

I’m attempting to connect from my Mac to a PC on my local network via Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection. When attempting to connect via Computer Name, I get an error indicating, “The Mac cannot connect because the Windows-based computer cannot be found. Verify that you typed the correct computer name or IP address, and try connecting again.”
