Lync 14.0.1 update addresses 10.7.2 crashes and Office 365 sign-ins

Microsoft has released its Lync for Mac 2011 14.0.1 update. This update fixes an issue where Mac OS X 10.7.2 users may experience unexpected quits while trying to sign in to an account. It also fixes an issue that prevented Office 365 users from being able to sign in to their accounts.

Lync for Mac 2011 available October

Microsoft announced today that it will release its third messaging application for Mac, Lync for Mac 2011, next month. Lync for Mac stands alongside Messenger for Mac, a free instant messaging and communications tool for the general public, and Communicator for Mac, an enterprise-only messaging application for use with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007.
