Lync for Mac 2011 14.0.4 update provides Mountain Lion support

Microsoft has released its Lync for Mac 2011 14.0.4 update. This update appears to solidify improvements in the the 14.0.3 hotfix for specific devices and officially supports OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion).

Additional improvements:

Fixes an issue where a Mac user cannot participate in screen sharing and receives the error message Encryption policy does not match because an administrator has set a policy to enforce desktop and application sharing encryption.  Fixes an issue where 16:9 aspect . . .

Lync for Mac 2011 14.0.3 update offers improved device support

Microsoft has released its Lync for Mac 2011 14.0.3 update. This update is a hotfix that improves audio quality and applies only to Lync users with these specific devices:

Polycomm CX300 Plantronics Calisto 800 series Plantronics Calisto 540 Logitech B530 Jabra Pro 9450 Sennheiser DW Office Snom UC600 Microsoft LifeCam Studio

Lync 14.0.1 update addresses 10.7.2 crashes and Office 365 sign-ins

Microsoft has released its Lync for Mac 2011 14.0.1 update. This update fixes an issue where Mac OS X 10.7.2 users may experience unexpected quits while trying to sign in to an account. It also fixes an issue that prevented Office 365 users from being able to sign in to their accounts.

Lync for Mac 2011 available October

Microsoft announced today that it will release its third messaging application for Mac, Lync for Mac 2011, next month.
