Configure Outlook for Mac to use iCloud email aliases

Apple’s iCloud service (formerly Mobile Me, formerly .Mac) offers email aliases for every account. Aliases are a feature common to many email services. iCloud allows each account to enable up to three additional email addresses without having to pay for or manage three additional accounts. They are useful as temporary addresses for online purchases to avoid spam or as long-term addresses that are more memorable than the account name.

Microsoft releases Office for Mac 2011 14.3.5 Update

Microsoft has released the Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 14.3.5 Update. (113 MB) Installation requires first installing the 14.1.0 (SP1) update. According to the update’s description it addresses one security issue and a bug fix.

The update addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Outlook for Mac that could allow remote code execution by creating specially crafted Office files to elevate privileges on a computer. It also includes a fix for an appearance issue for missing flags . . .
