Exchange Server rules for Exchange 2010 SP1+ only.
Still we see no auto-spellcheck.
It’s not like there has been no feedback on this issue.
The connection to the Exchange server was lost with the upgrade and I have not been able to restore the connection. Thanks MicroSoft!!!
I’ve seen a couple of other reports today with this issue. Try creating a new Identity and see if you can connect.
If this fails, test in a new User. CREATE A NEW USER
Go to System Preferences –> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching.

The updated version does not sort the address book by name anymore!!! HELP!
Yikes! I’m surprised no one has reported this yet. Sorting by Name does appear to be broken.
Under View in the Menu Bar, add “First Name” and “Last Name” then remove “Name”. Now you can sort alphabetically.
14.1 immediately breaks the ties to the Exchange server and disallows the correct password, recursively asking for it again and again.
I’ve personally not experienced that problem. Be sure to post your problem in the Microsoft forums and see if anyone had a solution.
Connection to exchange server lost with update. My IT guy (PC guy, not Mac) cannot fix it. I need help. I can’t believe Microsoft can get away with cutting users off of e-mail. Will there be an immediate update to fix this problem? How can I fix this?
Hi Joe!
We are not Microsoft. No one here can tell you what they’re planning.

There is still no auto-archive function. The manual archiving of the sub-folders is really painful.
Are there any news, solutions or work-arounds for the 2011 SP1 Exchange connection bug?

I have an Macbook air – how do i install this update after the download? I seems to want the original disks to move forward but I do not have a CD reader.
Thanx.
Thus update requires that you already have Office for Mac 2011 installed. It does not require your original disks.
If this doesn’t address your issue then be sure to post a question in the Microsoft forums.
I have tried several times to install the 2011 14.1.0 update. When I have 2 minutes left, I get the warning to close emails and Safari. Both are closed. Any idea how I can install this update?
